Domestic and Commercial Fridges
Fridges are a very common home appliance. Their ownership of fridges in households developed in the beginning of the 2oth century even though the earliest fridges date back to the 18th century. Before the invention of the refrigerator, icehouses were used. William Cullen demonstrated the first known artificial refrigeration in1748. At the beginning of the 20th century, half of the households in the US had to keep the food cold by using melting ice while the other half had to do without any cold storage.
